The Lightwave LP70 Smart Motion Sensor is a wireless, battery-powered device that adds intelligence to your smart home. It enables automation by detecting motion and triggering other Lightwave devices, such as lights or sockets.

Step 1: Mount the Sensor
Position the sensor in a location where motion detection is desired, such as an entrance, hallway, or bathroom.
Placement Tips:

Install at a height between 1.8 – 2.5 meters.

Face the sensor toward areas with expected movement.
Mounting Options:

Magnetic Mount: Attach the magnetic base to a clean surface, and place the sensor onto it. This allows easy repositioning.

Alternative Mounting: You can also use adhesive tape or screws (not included) for a more permanent setup.
Step 2: Pair with the Lightwave App

Open the Lightwave App on your mobile device.

Tap the green (+) icon in the center of the screen.

Select Devices.

Enter a name for your sensor (e.g., Porch Sensor or Hallway Motion).

Open the battery compartment and press the small pairing button using a paperclip or pin until the LED flashes red and blue alternately.

Immediately tap the green Pair button on your mobile device.
The sensor will be added and shown in your app under the name you provided.
Step 3: Configure Automations
After pairing, use the Lightwave App to create custom automations such as:

Turning on lights when motion is detected.

Activating a scene at night.

Sending push notifications for unexpected movement.

Troubleshooting

No LED Flashing? Check that the battery is seated correctly or replace it.
