When connecting dimmable LED strip lighting to our dimmer, it's important to consider the following recommendations.
- To ensure optimal dimming and compatibility, it is essential to use a 24v LED Triac Dimmable driver with Lightwave dimmers. - 12v dimmable drivers do not work with smart dimmers
- The length of the LED strip must not exceed 10 meters per channel.
- The wattage of the LED strip must not exceed 100w per channel
- Must have a minimum of 10w per channel
- It is important to note that only one driver should be used per channel to avoid causing damage to the dimmer.
- Opt for gel type IP65 rated LED strips or COB LED strips as they have shown improved performance in dimming capabilities and durability.
- Highly recommended to connect a neutral wire where possible to improve dimming performance
- Use cool or warm white LED strip lighting
