What type of LED Bulbs can I use

LED lighting has gained popularity as a way to cut down on energy consumption. Lightwave Dimmers are specifically designed to work seamlessly with the latest dimmable LED lamps. However, some types of LEDs may still experience issues with dimming and flickering. While adding more bulbs to increase the total load/wattage can sometimes solve this problem, it's not always effective. To ensure smooth dimming, it's recommended to use bulbs that have been pre-tested and are listed on our website - link below:

  • For optimal performance, we suggest using up to 15 bulbs per gang. While more bulbs may still function, we cannot guarantee smooth operation beyond this recommended limit.
  • When choosing LED bulbs, it's best to stick with reputable brands to ensure quality components. Cheaper brands may use inferior parts, leading to issues like poor dimming performance, flickering, or pulsing.
