What do the LED colours indicate on the front of the dimmer?

Solid Blue

Dimmer ON state

Notes: Colour cannot be changed by user

 

Solid Red

Dimmer OFF state

Notes: Colour can be changed by user

 

Flashing Red and Blue

Dimmer is in pairing mode

Notes: This mode typically lasts for around 10 seconds and is commonly observed when pairing the device with the app.

 

Flashing Blue

Dimmer has successfully paired to the Link Plus

 

Flashing Red

Dimmer memory is full, needs to be cleared - How to clear the memory

Notes: Happens when attempting to put dimmer into pairing mode

 

Flashing Red and lights dim to 20%

Too much load is connected to the circuit or the lamps are incompatible

Notes: Dim level lowers to prevent overheating, if no change is made to the lamps then the dimmer will continue doing this

 

Solid Green

Dimmer has received power

Notes: Solid green will turn to flashing green and white after 5 seconds if no buttons are pressed.

 

Flashing Green and White

Auto calibration (dimmer finds optimum dimming range)

Notes: Returns to OFF state when completed.

 

Flashing Green and Red

Manual calibration (lower dim level adjustment)

Notes: Pressing the OFF button on dimmer when power is given will start manual calibration mode, holding both buttons will allow adjustment of upper dim level adjustment.

 

Flashing Green and Blue

Manual calibration (upper dim level adjustment)

Notes: Pressing the OFF button on dimmer when power is given will start manual calibration mode, holding both buttons will complete manual calibration.

 

Flashing Light Blue

Dimmer is updating its firmware

Notes: Has to be initiated from the app, takes approximately 3 minutes.

 

Static Red to Static Green and OFF

Dimmer is trying update its firmware but it is failing

Fix : Power off the mains from the consumer unit (circuit) and restart the dimmer.
