Link 1 (LW930/LW500) Flashing Red
This article provides fixes for when your Link 1 (LW930/LW500) is flashing red or is not connecting to our servers.
🔌 Link 1 (LW500 / LW930) – Flashing Red
A flashing red light on a Link 1 is most commonly caused by a power supply issue, not a network issue.
⚠️ Most Common Cause – Power Supply Failure
This often happens:
• After a power cut
• On older units (Link 1 was discontinued in 2019)
👉 In most cases, the power adaptor has failed or degraded.
✅ Fix:
• Replace the power adaptor with the correct rating:
12V 0.3A
• These are still available, so please contact support to obtain a replacement
🌐 Less Common Cause – Network / Router Changes
In some cases, flashing red may occur after:
• Changing your router
• Switching internet provider (ISP)
✅ Fix:
• Try restarting your router
• If needed, set up port forwarding (see below)
👉 However, always try the power adaptor first, as this is the most common cause.
⚙️ Advanced (Optional) – Port Forwarding
If required, the following UDP ports can be forwarded:
• 69
• 2011
• 2013
This can help restore communication, but is rarely needed
