How do I master reset LightwaveRF devices?

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to clear the memory and perform a master reset on your LightwaveRF device. Follow the steps below to reset your device and prepare it for re-pairing.

A master reset is typically required if your device flashes red while attempting to pair with the app. It can also be used for troubleshooting if the device is not functioning as expected. Before resetting, you may need to delete the device from the app—follow the steps in this article for guidance.

Sockets:

  1. Remove the device from your LightwaveRF app.

  2. Press and hold one of the buttons on the socket.
  3. Release the button, then press and hold it again until the socket flashes red rapidly.
  4. Release the button, and the socket will turn solid green.
  5. Once the socket returns to solid red, it is ready to be re-paired with the Link Plus app.

Dimmers:

  1. Press and hold both the top and bottom buttons on one channel until the dimmer flashes red.L22_0035
  2. Release both buttons, then press and hold the bottom button on the same channel until the dimmer flashes red rapidly.
  3. Release the bottom button—the dimmer will turn green, indicating that it is calibrating. Allow the calibration cycle to complete.
  4. Once the dimmer returns to a solid red light, it is now ready to be re-paired with the Link Plus app.

 

Relays:
  1. Press and hold the small button on top of the relay (near the LED indicator).
  2. When the relay flashes red, release the button, then quickly press and hold it again.L82_Turn0000
  3. The relay will flash red more rapidly, then turn solid green—this indicates it is resetting.
  4. Once the relay returns to solid red, it is ready to be re-paired with the Lightwave Link Plus app.

 

 


Scene Selectors:

  1. Press and hold both the top and bottom buttons on one channel until the device flashes red.LP52 1.HERO
  2. Release both buttons, then press and hold the bottom button on the same channel until the device flashes red rapidly, then turns solid green.
  3. Once the device returns to solid red, it is ready to be re-paired with the Link Plus app.






Thermostat (DT3R):

  2. Toggle down to "RF" and press the physical button.
  3. Toggle down to "Clr" and press the physical button.
  4. Wait 10 seconds, then remove the battery and restart the device.

 

 

Boiler Switch (LP92):

  1. Press and hold the pairing button, located on the bottom left-hand side of the device, until the LED indicator flashes red.
  1. Release the button immediately, then quickly press and hold it again. The device will flash redL92_0000 rapidly and then change to green.
  2. Release the button once the LED turns green.
  3. Wait until the LED returns to a solid red state. Once this happens, the device is now reset and ready to be paired again.



Honeywell Home Wireless Radiator Valve (HR91):
  1. Press and hold the right button on the device for 10 seconds.honeywell-HR91
  2. Keep holding the button until the right LED flashes red, indicating that the binding has been successfully cleared.
  3. Release the button once the red LED appears.

 

Motion Sensor (LP70):

  1. Remove the back cover of the motion sensor.
  2. Press the Learn button once and release it. The LED on the front of the device will flash slowly.LP70_Front
  3. Press and hold the Learn button again until the LED flashes red rapidly, confirming that the memory has been successfully cleared.
  4. The LED will then turn green before returning to a solid red state.

Smart LED Driver:
  1. Locate the small button near the LED indicator light on the Smart LED Driver.1_4f0d9bb1-91d1-4451-b13b-ae932069026e
  2. Press and hold the button until the LED indicator flashes red.
  3. Release the button, then quickly press and hold it again.
  4. The LED indicator will flash red at a faster rate, then turn solid green.
  5. Once the LED returns to solid red, the device has been successfully reset.
