How to download the Link Plus App, create an account and pair your Link Plus to your system

This guide will walk you through the process of installing the Link Plus, downloading the app, and completing the sign-up steps.

📦 What’s in the Box?

  • 1x Lightwave Link Plus (L2)

  • 1x Ethernet cable

  • 1x Power supply unit


🛠️ Step-by-Step: Installing the Link Plus

1. Connect the Link Plus to Your Router

  • Plug one end of the included Ethernet cable into the Link Plus.

  • Plug the other end into a free Ethernet LAN port on your home router.

  • Connect the power supply and plug it into a mains outlet.


📲 Installing the Lightwave App & Pairing the Link Plus

1️⃣ Download the App

Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and search for “Lightwave Link Plus”. Download and install the app on your mobile device.

2️⃣ Create an Account or Log In

  • Open the app.

  • Select Sign Up to create a new account or Log In with existing credentials.

3️⃣ Pair Your Link Plus Hub

  • Upon first opening the app, you'll be presented with the Getting Started screen.

  • Tap the Link Button to scan for your Link Plus on the network.

  • If it is not automatically found, tap “Add your link manually” and enter the Cloud Number located on the bottom of your hub The number will start with BC31 or BC32.

  • Press the physical Link button on the hub while it's rapidly flashing Blue to confirm pairing.

✅ Once paired, you can assign your Link Plus to a room and begin setting up devices.

Once your Link Plus is installed:

  • Add Lightwave smart devices like dimmers, sockets, relays, and thermostats.

  • Organise devices into rooms within the app.

  • Set up schedules, scenes, and automations to customise your smart home experience.


❓ Troubleshooting Tips

If your Link Plus doesn’t connect:

  • Check that your Ethernet and power cables are securely connected.

  • Ensure your router is connected to the internet.

  • Restart your router and the Link Plus hub.

  • Try different Ethernet ports on your router (some are more open than others which the Link Plus prefers)
