A call-for-heat automation is used during the initial setup of your heating system to ensure that your Thermostat/TRV's and Boiler switch communicate with one another; this allows the Thermostat /TRV's to operate the boiler switch whenever they require or don't require heat.

You will initially see your favorites page. - Access the Automation Menu.
Tap the green plus (+) icon located at the center bottom of the app, then select "Automations." - Select "Call for Heat".

When prompted, select the Caller devices (e.g., TRVs or thermostats) that will call for heat. Tap "Next" in the top right corner once you've made your selection. - Configure Providers.
Next, select the Provider devices (e.g., Boiler Switch or Relay) that will provde the heat t the caller(s). After selecting, tap "Next" in the top right corner. - Finalize the Automation.
Enter a name for your automation and then tap "Done" in the top right to complete the setup.
