How to Link and Control the LP84 Smart Dimmable Driver

Step 2.

Once you have linked the device to the app you will be directed to the below set-up screen. Please select the correct option below  - this is all dependent on what type of LED strip you have used and how the device has been wired

In this guide, we will demonstrate how to add an RGBW LED strip, which consists of four wires. Each wire corresponds to a specific color: Red, Green, Blue, and White.

It is essential to configure the output channels correctly to achieve accurate color representation. The output channels correspond to how the LED strip is connected to the dimmable driver. Below are the default color assignments:

- Output 1: RED

- Output 2: GREEN

- Output 3: BLUE

- Output 4: WHITE

If your wiring differs from the default configuration, please ensure that the settings in the app reflect your specific wiring setup. once you have done this press NEXT

Step 3.

Designate your device to the appropriate room and, if desired, add it to your favorites page for easy access.

Once your device has been successfully added to the app, you will have the ability to control its color, adjust the brightness, and switch it on or off. Below are screenshots that illustrate how the device appears within the app for your convenience.

Colour accuracy may vary based on the type and quality of the LED strip used. If you notice that the colors do not appear as expected, you can adjust the calibration of the driver to better match the connected strip. The Calibration settings can be found within the LP84 device settings; please refer to the image below for guidance on how this appears in the app.

You can utilise the Smart Dimmable Driver in all of our automation features. This allows you to create automations for brightness adjustments, color changes, and temperature settings (cool/warm). Additionally, you can lock the physical device and control its on/off status. The available controllable options are illustrated in the image below.

Aswell as controlling the LP84 from our app you can also control the LP84 from a battery operated Scene selector or a spare unwired dimmer channel. All you need to do is ask the scene selector or Dimmer to Mirror the LP84. you will see this option in either the scene selector and dimmer advanced device settings under Multi press options.
