How to Master Reset and enter Pairing Mode on the Electric Heating Switch (LW934)

This article explains how to factory reset the Electric Heating Switch (LW934) device and place it into pairing mode, allowing you to reconnect it to your Lightwave system or set it up again from scratch.

Before You Begin

  • Ensure the heating switch is powered on

⚠️ Note: Master Resetting the device will clear all existing connections and settings.

Resetting the Heating Switch

Follow these steps to clear the device memory:

  1. Press and hold the button on the left-hand side of the heating switch
  2. Wait for the LED to flash orange, then release the button
  3. Quickly press and hold the button against the orange LED will flash faster
  4. Let go once more and press the button once.
  5. The LED will flash orange more rapidly, then turn solid green
  6. Wait for the LED to return to solid orange

✅ The device has now been successfully reset.

Putting the Device into Pairing Mode

  1. Press and hold the button on the left-hand side of the heating switch
  2. Wait until the LED flashes green and orange
  3. Release the button

🔄 The device is now in pairing mode and ready to connect.

Understanding LED Indicators

LED Behaviour Meaning
Flashing orange Memory Full
Rapid orange flashing Reset in progress
Solid green Device is ON
Solid orange Device is OFF 
Flashing green & orange Pairing mode active

Additional Notes

  • Resetting removes all previous configurations
  • Always complete the reset before attempting to pair again
  • If issues persist, further investigation may be required
