How to control Philips Hue Smart bulbs using the Lightwave Smart wire free Scene selector

After successfully integrating your Hue system with Lightwave and adding the wire free scene selector to the app, you can customise it to have complete control over turning the lights on and off, as well as real-time dimming.

In the settings of the wire free scene selector, you have the option to mirror the Hue light bulb/s. By setting up a wire free switch to mirror a Philips Hue bulb, you gain advanced control over the lamps. You can easily turn them on and off with a single tap of the top or bottom button, and if the lamps are already on, you can achieve real-time dimming by long-pressing the top or bottom button.

Once you have set up the Mirror function, you can take advantage of the multi-press feature to change the lamp colours. You can set up to 24 different colour options, where each press of the button sets the Hue bulbs to your desired colour. Please refer to the screen shots below for instructions on how to mirror a scene selector to a Hue light and set up the multi-press feature for colour changing.

STEP 1

Long press on the channel of the scene selector that you would like to use to mirror the Hue smart bulb and press SETTINGS in the top right corner– The screen shot below shows an LP54 - 4 channel scene selector.
