# How to Add Your Lightwave System to Apple Home (Home Kit)
## This step-by-step guide covers everything from setting up your Lightwave Link Plus hub to pairing devices and controlling them through the Apple Home app and Siri voice commands. Make your home smarter and more convenient by connecting Lightwave with Apple Home.

### ✅ What You’ll Need
- A **Lightwave Link Plus** hub (Smart Series only)
- An **iPhone or iPad** running the latest iOS
- The **Apple Home app**
- Your **Lightwave HomeKit pairing code** (on the bottom of the hub or packaging)

### 🔧 Step-by-Step Setup
#### 1. **Open the Apple Home App**
Launch the **Home app** on your iPhone or iPad.
#### 2. **Tap the “+” Icon**
In the top-right corner, tap **+** and choose **“Add Accessory.”**

#### 3. **Scan the Setup Code**
Hold your phone’s camera over the **HomeKit code** on the bottom of your Link Plus hub (or on its packaging).

#### 4. **Wait for Bridge Connection**
Your iPhone will begin connecting to the Link Plus hub.

#### 5. **Assign a Room**
Once connected, choose a **room** for the bridge (e.g., “Living Room” or “Bedroom”).
#### 6. **Confirm the Bridge Name**
Give the bridge a name or leave it as default (e.g., “Lightwave Link Plus”).
#### 7. **Finish Setup**
Once complete, your Lightwave devices will appear in the Home app — ready to control!
