How to Change or Turn Off the LED Indicator Light on a Lightwave Device 

This article explains how to disable the LED Indicator on supported Lightwave products. The term "LED Indicator" refers to the small status light featured on many Lightwave devices—most commonly our smart dimmers and smart sockets. While behavior may vary slightly between models, this guide applies to all Lightwave devices that include a controllable LED Indicator.

You can customise the LED indicator on your Lightwave device to suit your preferences or room environment. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Lightwave Link Plus App.

  2. Navigate to "Rooms".

  3. Select the Room where your device is located.

  4. Press and Hold the Tile of the device you want to adjust.

  5. Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner.

  6. Select "LED Colour" from the menu.

  7. In this section, you will be presented with the following options:

Within this section, you can:

  • Change the LED colour when the device is off.

  • Adjust the brightness of the LED indicator.

  • Enable LED Indicator Auto-Off, which will turn off the LED for both the ON & OFF LED Indicators after a set period of time.

Note: Disabling or reducing the brightness to zero will remove the visible indication that the device is powered on.
