How to manage users and access on your Lightwave Account

In this article, you will learn how to add more users to your account, transfer ownership and view the individuals who have access to your Lightwave setup

Option 1 -  Invite User 

Please keep in mind that the person being invited must have installed the Lightwave app and set up an account beforehand.

This feature is useful if you wish to have various individuals linked to your Lightwave account, such as your spouse, family members, carers etc..

Option 2 - Transfer Ownership

This feature is handy if you want to change the email address associated with your Lightwave account.

You have the option to transfer ownership of your home to another individual. Once transferred, they will have the same access and controls as you currently do. However, please note that you will lose access once they log in for the first time. It's important that the person being invited has already installed the Lightwave app and created an account beforehand. Verify that the new owner's email address is accurate, as their account will be linked to this. Upon transfer, they will receive an email containing their login details.

Option 3 - Users and Access

This feature allows you to manage who has access to your Lightwave account. Here, you can easily remove any unwanted users by swiping left and confirming with your Lightwave password. This extra security step ensures that users are not accidentally removed. This feature is particularly useful if, for example, someone like your electrician initially set up your account using their email address, but you no longer want them to have access to your Lightwave setup.
