Here is an overview of our heating range and the key points about each product. If you require further information, please get in touch with our Technical Support Team.
LW920 Boiler Switch
- Should not be paired to the link (app)
- Pairs to the thermostat or electric switch and needs to be within suitable range
- Boost button raises target temperature a few degrees higher than the ambient temperature for 1 hour
- Can be wired for S or Y plan heating configurations. Refer to manual/get an electrician
- Rated at 7a so only designed for boilers (not heaters or appliances with more current)
- When successfully paired to thermostat, the ON LED will flash, and the thermostat will say LINK OK If the LED on the unit switches back to OFF or there is an LED not lit, it is faulty and needs replacing
- Memory can be cleared if there is an issue with pairing
LW921 Home Thermostat
- Pairs to the boiler switch or electric switch - can only be paired to 1 device not including the link (app)
- Best to keep in RUNNING mode with date and time set correctly
- Boost button raises target by 1.5 degrees above ambient temperature for 1 hour, pressing it multiple times will increase boost duration
- When creating schedules with link 1, aim to leave 15 minute off period in between schedules and have the last time no later than 05:45
- Schedules made on the app save on to the thermostat itself (Connect Series Link only), however this is different to the in-built schedule
- With Link Plus, the automations send from the link so nothing is saved on the device
- Can be used to pair to an electric switch if the location of the electric switch is not accurately representing the ideal temperature. Electric switch schedule will be bypassed (pairing is achieved the same way as pairing to boiler switch)
- Memory can be cleared if there is an issue with pairing
LW922 Smart Radiator Valve
- Pairs to the link (app)
- Schedules made on the app save on to the TRV itself (Connect Series Link only)
- With Link Plus, the automations send from the link so nothing is saved on the device
- Boost button raises target temperature a few degrees higher than the ambient temperature for 1 hour
- Consider TRV calibration for ways to help close the valve pin if the radiator stays warm when output is 0%
- When creating schedules with link 1, aim to leave 15 minute off period in between schedules and have the last time no later than 05:45
- With Call for heat ONLY, you can control the boiler to come on/off as per the requirements of the TRVs. The thermostat schedule will be bypassed when CFH is on
- If there is a communication issue between a TRV and the Link, schedules may not run and CFH will stop working - all TRVs need to be within range and with sufficient battery level
- Memory can be cleared if there is an issue with pairing
LW934 Electric Switch
- Pairs to the link (app)
- Schedules made on the app save on to the electric switch itself (Connect Series Link only)
- With Link Plus, the automations come from the link so nothing is saved on the device
- Boost button raises target temperature a few degrees higher than the ambient temperature for 1 hour
- Used for controlling hot water in addition to heating with used in a Y plan config (requires boiler switch also)
- Used for controlling electric heaters, underfloor heating and hot water tanks as rated at 13a and 3000W
- Has a built-in thermostat
- Not designed to be used as a fused spur
- Can be used thermostatically or for on/off function from the apps
- If the LED on the unit switches back to OFF or there is an LED not lit, it is faulty and needs replacing
- Memory can be cleared if there is an issue with pairing
