Understanding the lightwave and hue integration
There are 3 ways of controlling the Hue lamps with Lightwave
- App control of the hue lamps (this article will explain how to gain lightwave app control of the hue colour changing lamps)
- With a neutral wire connected to our dimmer and set to On/Off mode - Click here for more information
- Without a neutral - you are unable to control a hue lightbulb directly from a wired lightwave dimmer, instead you can opt for a Wire free switch approach - Click here for more information
In every scenario described above, the first step is to connect your Philips Hue account to the Lightwave application. Once authorisation is granted, you will find managing your Philips hue bulbs to be a seamless experience. This combined control simplifies the process of managing both devices through one application. Even more, this integration will allow you to set up Lightwave automations which can include the Philips Hue lighting.
