COMMON QUERIES WITH LINKS
ISSUE |
CAUSE |
SOLUTION |
Flashing red light/display says 'server re-trying |
- Link is not connected to the internet
|
- Check ethernet cable
- If using a network switch/wifi extender/power-line adapter, connect the link directly into the router instead
- Use the last available port on the router (normally 2 or 4)
- Turn off broadband router, wait for connection to establish, then connect the link
- Attempt port forwarding by accessing the settings of the router
- If none of the above works, then there could be an issue with the network configuration - try the Link in a different router or contact network provider

- Avoid placing the receiver (relay/socket/dimmer) near any metal, water or other RF devices (30cm minimum)
- Replace with a new battery (even though LED may light up when operating the remote/controller, the battery level may be insufficient to transmit RF)
