ISSUE CAUSE SOLUTION
Flashing red light/display says 'server re-trying
  • Link is not connected to the internet
 
  • Check ethernet cable
  • If using a network switch/wifi extender/power-line adapter, connect the link directly into the router instead
  • Use the last available port on the router (normally 2 or 4)
  • Turn off broadband router, wait for connection to establish, then connect the link
  • Attempt port forwarding by accessing the settings of the router
  • If none of the above works, then there could be an issue with the network configuration - try the Link in a different router or contact network provider
Steady red light (LW930 only)  
  • Power adapter failure
  • Firmware issue
Flashing blue light (JSJSLW500 only)
  • Power adapter failure

COMMON QUERIES WITH REMOTES AND CONTROLLERS

 

ISSUE CAUSE SOLUTION
Remote/controller works intermittently with receiver it is paired to  
  • Slightly out of range
  • RF interference
  • Insufficient battery level
  • Try and use the remote/controller nearer and see if it improves - if not, try a different solution
  • Avoid placing the receiver (relay/socket/dimmer) near any metal, water or other RF devices (30cm minimum)
  • Replace with a new battery (even though LED may light up when operating the remote/controller, the battery level may be insufficient to transmit RF)
Device does not control any receivers (dimmer/socket/relay) it is paired to  
  • Out of range
  • RF interference
  • Insufficient battery level
  • Not paired
  • Try and use it nearer to the receiving device
  • Replace with a new battery
  • Clear the memory of receiving device and re-pair afterwards
When operating the remote/controller, multiple devices operate when only one is desired  
  •  Cross paired
  • Clear memory of the devices that are being controlled by this remote/controller and attempt to re-pair
