• Condensation or damp conditions

• Weather-related fluctuations in humidity or temperature

• Ingress risks through conduit or backbox entry points

Even if the dimmer is installed indoors but controls outdoor fittings, the potential for moisture to track back through cabling can lead to long-term reliability issues.
