The L92 (Smart Heating Switch) uses the boost function to increase the temperature by a chosen value for a selected amount of time. This will be boosted from the current temperature the L92 is reading. This is shown in the examples below.
First the L92 needs to be set in Heating mode not Manual mode, otherwise the boost function does not work. When the L92 is added on to the app it will give you this option below to select what mode you require, this can also be changed in the L92 device settings.
Then you will be asked whether you would like to setup the boost function or skip for now. The boost value (°C) is the amount you would like the temperature to be increased by. For example, if it is currently 20° and your boost value is 5° the L92 will then target 25°. But if you change the target temperature by an automation (schedule, timer, etc) or manually the boost function will be overridden.
The L92 shown below is currently at 21.9° so when the boost button is pressed, either from the app or manually, it will then target 26.9° and it will carry out this boost function for 1 hour as that is the time period that had been set previously.
If you need to edit the boost function after you have initially set it up, you can find the option to do this in the settings for the L92 itself. This can be seen below.
Note:
* The L92 must be turned on to activate the boost function, it cannot be activated if the L92 is turned off.
* The L92 needs to be set in Heating mode not Manual mode
