The Lightwave Smart Series dimmers can be calibrated to suit your lights.
If the Lamps are compatible, Auto Calibrate normally resolves any issues or instabilities.
Manual calibrations are normally used if you wish to manually adjust the dimming range, eliminate either the high or low end of the dimming range that is a little unstable and to set the dimmer to lamps that may not be 100% compatible.
E.g
LED bulbs work great however the flicker slightly at 100% - in this case you would need to carry manual calibration through the app and set the dimming range in this section to what ever suites, in this case you may need to set min at 0% and max and 80%.
Please have a look at the video below witch highlights how this can be done from the app, this can be applied to different types of lamps, such as LED or halogen.
Please remember to check out our Compatibility charts for lamps we recommend. If you stay in line with this then manual calibrations may not be required.
