The App

Our free smartphone and tablet app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play. You can also use our Web App on a PC or tablet by logging into the Lightwave website at any time. The Lightwave app provides control for up to 80 heating and monitoring devices, as well as up to 256 other Lightwave lighting and power modules. Basic app features include grouping, scene lighting, energy monitoring, heating scheduling, temperature reporting, scheduled events and socket or dimmer locking.

Lightwave Link Plus

The Lightwave Link is the key to the system. It receives and passes on commands from the app to Lightwave modules such as dimmers, relays or sockets which then carry out the command. The app can communicate with the Link within the home using WiFi, or using 3G or 4G if it detects that you are away. The Link is a plug & play device; all it requires is to be plugged into your home broadband WiFi router. One Link will cover a typical large house.

Devices

Lightwave's core devices are dimmers (also called light switches), power sockets, and radiator valves; we also offer a larger range of complimentary devices like relays, thermostats, and more. All these devices come with the built in Lightwave technology that allows your devices to communicate with your Link. Each device is self contained, and you can add or remove devices at any time without disrupting your setup. This makes installing Lightwave in the home very simple. Lightwave dimmers and sockets use standard 35mm back-boxes, and no extra cabling is required.
